Dog Days Team Tennis

Teams will be based on combined ratings. Each match, a team will field a court of men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles at the combined level limit. Levels will consist of 5.0, 6.0 combined, 7.0 combined, 8.0 combined, and 9.0 combined. Players must be 18 or older.

For example, an 8.0 team could field these courts during a match:

Men's Doubles ( a 4.0 player and a 4.0 Player)

Women's Doubles ( a 3.5 player and a 4.5 player)

Mixed Doubles ( a 4.0 player a 3.5 player)

Any combination will be allowed as long as the players on court do not exceed the combined rating. You may play on up to two teams, as long as the teams are at different levels. Have questions? Reach out to us!

The Dog Days Logo...Cooper

When we created Dog Days Tennis Tournament, we loved the idea of partnering with local animal shelters or rescues that could financially benefit from our tournament. We did need a mascot for our logo, so we approached a local artist and discussed the premise of our tournament. One of our tournament committee members had just lost their dog Cooper, to kidney failure a few weeks before the tournament began. Cooper was a blind dog, who (despite his impairment) loved fetching tennis balls above anything else in the world! The artist decided to use Cooper for our logo and now he lives on with all of us chasing tennis balls on a hot summer day!
